By May 2013, Adolphus Daniel had pocketed $34 million from the ill-fated LifeSport programmeāthe single largest payout made to any individual connected to the programme.
And even with his pockets already overflowing, Daniel insisted a technology component be addedāto squeeze out another $8 million for work he never delivered, according to then-LifeSport acting director of physical education and sport at the Ministry of Sport, Ruth Marchan.
But after being threatened by a gangster during a LifeSport meeting at the Hasely Crawford Stadium that same yearāand later issuing his own threat to Marchan at her officeāDaniel vanished.
