Trinidad and ToÂbaÂgo soÂca group Kes the Band has anÂnounced that their sinÂgle CoÂcoa Tea is ofÂfiÂcialÂly unÂder conÂsidÂerÂaÂtion for the 2025 GramÂmy Awards.
The track has been enÂtered in the catÂeÂgoÂry of Best GlobÂal MuÂsic PerÂforÂmance, markÂing anÂothÂer step forÂward in the group’s misÂsion to take soÂca muÂsic to inÂterÂnaÂtionÂal auÂdiÂences.
The anÂnounceÂment comes as the RecordÂing AcadÂeÂmy’s first round of votÂing to deÂterÂmine this year’s nomÂiÂnees is curÂrentÂly unÂderÂway, runÂning unÂtil OcÂtoÂber 15.
