A motherâs final moments with her daughter became the most painful memory shared as seven-year-old Angelica Saydee Jogie was laid to rest yesterday, her life cut short in a jet ski tragedy in Tobago.
The funeral service brought together family, friends, schoolmates, residents and well-wishers, who united in mourning to say goodbye to the child remembered for her love of the beach, dancing, and haÂving fun with her family.
The tents at her familyâs home on Cemetery Road, Barrackpore, were decorated in shades of pink and purpleâthe young girlâs favourite coloursâaccented with balloons, soft drapery and florals. Photographs capturing her bright smile were mounted on walls and banners.
