A man charged unĀder the new Home InĀvaĀsion Act has been grantĀed bail in the sum of $200,000 with strict conĀdiĀtions afĀter apĀpearĀing beĀfore the High Court CrimĀiĀnal DiĀviĀsion in south Trinidad.
Shawn CumĀmings, 37, of Sixth ComĀpaĀny CirĀcuĀlar Road, InĀdiĀan Walk, faces charges of woundĀing with inĀtent and home inĀvaĀsion arisĀing out of an alĀleged cutĀlass atĀtack on AnĀdrew TeesĀdale on April 5.
The matĀter was heard yesĀterĀday beĀfore MasĀter Gray. ProsĀeĀcuĀtor Amit JagĀgerĀnauth apĀpeared for the State, while CumĀmings was repĀreĀsentĀed by atĀtorĀneys JaĀson JackĀson and Krysan RamĀbert. RamĀbert made the bail apĀpliĀcaĀtion on beĀhalf of the acĀcused.
