DeĀspite linĀgerĀing quesĀtions over the beĀhavĀiour of a man who was recordĀed walkĀing along the roof of the San FerĀnanĀdo GenĀerĀal HosĀpiĀtal this week, the South-West ReĀgionĀal Health AuĀthorĀiĀty (SWRHA) has conĀfirmed that he was safeĀly reĀcovĀered and treatĀed.
Videos cirĀcuĀlatĀed on soĀcial meĀdia showed the man walkĀing along the steep rooftop beĀfore he was reĀstrained and lowĀered by anĀothĀer inĀdiĀvidĀual.
In a stateĀment isĀsued yesĀterĀday, the SWRHA said the man was a paĀtient who had been disĀcharged around 2 pm on WednesĀday. AfĀter leavĀing the ward, he made his way inĀto an unauĀthoĀrised area and climbed onĀto the roof of a buildĀing adĀjoinĀing the main hosĀpiĀtal strucĀture.
