Limers foil attempted chain-snatching in Diego Martin

A group of men liming at a Diego Martin bar came to the aid of a patron who was attacked by two bandits on Sunday afternoon.

Police said the victim was liming at a business on the corner of Temple Street and St Lucien Road around 4.15 pm when the suspects approached him. One of the bandits tried to snatch the man’s gold chain.

The victim held onto the attacker and the two struggled until nearby patrons intervened, briefly subduing the suspect.
