LoÂcal ceÂment manÂuÂfacÂturÂer Trinidad CeÂment LimÂitÂed (TCL) has genÂerÂatÂed close to US$4 milÂlion in forÂeign exÂchange earnÂings durÂing the month of JuÂly, a hisÂtoric achieveÂment that unÂderÂscores TCL’s growÂing reÂgionÂal footÂprint and its pivÂotal role in T&T’s manÂuÂfacÂturÂing landÂscape.
In adÂdiÂtion to the record-breakÂing JuÂly perÂforÂmance, TCL reÂportÂed a 44 per cent inÂcrease in its monthÂly avÂerÂage exÂport revÂenue for the JanÂuÂary to JuÂly 2025 peÂriÂod, comÂpared to the same timeÂframe in 2024.
In a stateÂment yesÂterÂday, the comÂpaÂny said the sucÂcess is beÂing hailed as a sigÂnifÂiÂcant conÂtriÂbuÂtion to the naÂtionÂal econÂoÂmy, parÂticÂuÂlarÂly in supÂportÂing forÂeign exÂchange genÂerÂaÂtion, a critÂiÂcal need in the curÂrent ecoÂnomÂic cliÂmate.
