Businesswoman Star Sabga has been released from detention at the Women's Prison in Golden Grove after spending just over a month at the State facility.
Confirmation came late tonight from a senior member of her legal team, who told Guardian Media Sabga has been released under house arrest conditions.
The development follows a High Court order earlier today directing the release of the 69-year-old cheesemaker. The State immediately challenged the ruling, triggering a six-hour stay of the decision.
