Caribbean Airlines Adds Tobago-Toronto Flights, Resumes Trinidad-Caracas Service

Caribbean Airlines will launch a weekly direct Toronto–Tobago flight on October 25, just ahead of Tobago Carnival, and Tourism Secretary Zorisha Hackett called it a major win for the island. The route is expected to strengthen ties with the Canadian diaspora, boost tourism and business, and meet growing demand as more Canadians look beyond the US for travel.

Demand for Tobago Carnival travel is so high that Caribbean Airlines has already sold out its initial flights and 88% of 7,000 extra seats added this week. Transport Minister Eli Zakour says talks are underway to add more airlift, reflecting strong regional interest and pressure on capacity for the festival.

Caribbean Airlines will add a weekly Tobago-Toronto non-stop flight on October 25, resume Trinidad-Caracas service on October 31 and run seasonal Trinidad-Panama charters from December 1, 2026 to February 9, 2027.
