The Caribbean Court of JusÂtice (CCJ) has not yet reÂceived a forÂmal reÂquest from CariÂcom to proÂvide an adÂviÂsoÂry opinÂion on the reapÂpointÂment of CariÂcom SecÂreÂtary GenÂerÂal Dr CarÂla BarÂnett.
The Court conÂfirmed this to Guardian MeÂdia last ThursÂday, while notÂing that adÂviÂsoÂry opinÂions are usuÂalÂly isÂsued no latÂer than six months afÂter a matÂter is heard.
