St Joseph man wrestles gun from bandit to protect mother

A 38-year-old St Joseph man wresÂtled a gun away from a banÂdit who tried to rob his mothÂer at their home on SunÂday night.
PoÂlice said the man was at his famÂiÂly’s home on MaraÂcas RoyÂal Road at around 10.50 pm when he saw a banÂdit in the livÂing room. The stranger pointÂed a gun at the man’s 60-year-old mothÂer and deÂmandÂed her chain.
The banÂdit then aimed the gun at the man, who fought with the inÂtrudÂer and wresÂtled away his pisÂtol. The banÂdit fled the house, leavÂing the gun beÂhind.
